I taught at Escambia County High School for five years before coming to W.S. Neal High School.  I have taught at  at W.S. Neal High School for the past seven years.

I am Brenda Pendergrass. I have taught high school science for twelve years. The subjects I have taught range from Astronomy to Marine Biology, with Earth Science in between. I am currently teaching Biology and Earth Science at W. S. Neal High School. I enjoy teaching. Before I taught, I worked as a medical technologist for many years in several hospitals in all departments. I was blessed to be able to take off nine years and stay home with my four children. I now have two granddaughters. I want students to be successful while maintaining standards that require them to work hard so they will be proud of their accomplishments. Life is an adventure. We must all work hard to do what is right for the education of students. We need to make good choices today, because they influence our tomorrows.
